A friendly welcome to our 150-year-old farmhouse and small working farm, situated in central Cheshire. Set in a large beautiful, well-stocked garden with garden furniture for guests use.

Private guests lounge with TV and video. The attractive oak-beamed breakfast room looks out onto the garden and lawns. English and Continental breakfast are served. Evening meals available on request.

Views are both across the fields where you can see the animals grazing or onto the farmyard where we have stabling available for 4 visiting horses where we provide bed and breakfast for horses.

The multi-user route for walkers, cyclists and horse-riders passes over our farm. We are ideally situated for nearby Whitegate Way - a peaceful 7 mile stretch of a disused railway track with various landscapes and wild-life habitats. If you fancy a stroll to the local pub - its only 4 minutes away with good beer and food.

A visit to Chester is a must, or just pamper yourself and relax with our beauty therapist. Booking advisable for any beauty treatment and reflexology. If you are staying on holiday or business we aim to please.

Train station - Hartford near Northwich.
Taxi from Hartford Station - 4 miles.

Road Directions

From M6 north, leave M6, jct 18, take A54 towards Chester. Continue on A54 Chester travelling through Middlewich and Winsford, 3.5 miles from Winsford pass Shrewsbury Arms public house on right. At the next small crossroads turn right into Lane (note chapel on the left).

From south, leave M6, jct 20a, take M56 towards Chester, leave at first exit jct 10, A49. Take A49 towards Whitchurch, after approximately 8.5 miles pass through traffic lights with Shell filling station on the left, at next traffic lights turn left onto A54 Winsford (Chester Road).
